By the end of this session, the participants will be able to:
Appreciate the traditional use of public procurement in protection of national suppliers and contractors and in the promotion of social agenda issues;
Understand the trends towards non-discrimination and protection of the environment that developed in the last 50 years;
Understand the concept of Sustainable Development and its three pillars;
Recognize the definitions of Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP), Green Public Procurement (GPP) and Socially Responsible Public Procurement (SRPP).
